How do I pay for an option?

Payments must be made via TED if this is an outbound transaction, from the account of the transaction holder to the moneycorp account stated in the deal documentation. Once the payment is made we request that the client sends us the transaction proof via email.

 

What reasons are there for needing to make an international transfer?

International transfers can be made for payments of import and/or receipt of export, capital contribution, payment of services, and payment of software, among others.

Who can I make international transfers to?

You can send transfers to your own account abroad or other accounts in order to finance foreign residents such as your children, husband and wife. It is also possible to donate money to any person or institution.

Can I make an inbound transaction?

Yes, the main inbound transactions are the sale of real estate or transfers from your overseas account to your Brazilian account. It is also possible to receive profits from stock market investments or proceeds from monetization platforms, such as AdSense.

Do I need to have a Moneycorp account to be able to make international transfers?

It is not necessary to have an account, but it is necessary to fill in our onboarding documentation. Once we have all the information we can make the transfers directly to existing foreign accounts.

What amount can I buy in cash?

You can buy up to the equivalent of R$ 40,000.00 in foreign currency with a simple registration and without signing a FX contract.

If you would like to purchase a higher amount, we will request, in addition to the registration, a copy of your most recent tax return and the delivery confirmation.

In this event, the client will undergo a compliance/risk analysis to assess the maximum amount that they would be able to purchase based on the Income Tax. Additionally, the client will be asked to sign an FX contract for the deal.

How much can I put on the international prepaid card?

The card can be loaded with up to U$ 60,000.00, or the equivalent in other currencies.

For purchases up to R$ 40,000.00, you only need a simple registration. If you would like to purchase a higher amount, we will request, in addition to the registration, a copy of your most recent tax return and the delivery confirmation.

In this event, the client will undergo a compliance/risk analysis to assess the maximum amount that they would be able to purchase based on the Income Tax. Additionally the client will be asked to sign an FX contract for the deal. The card is valid for 5 years and can be refilled as needed.

What are the taxes charged when buying foreign currency?

You will pay 1.10% IOF to purchase hard currency, and 6.38% IOF on prepaid international cards.

What are the advantages and benefits of buying the international prepaid card?

The international prepaid card provides a higher degree of security than carrying cash, as with other banking cards.

In addition, it can be frozen and replaced by MasterCard in the event of loss or theft. This can be done by contacting the call center of the card operator, wherever you are in the world.

How long after buying hard currency do I receive the amount at the address indicated? What is the coverage area?
